Icing, is a thick and fun substance appreciated by many, but it is not without issues in WAM fun.

PROS

- It is extremely easy to find. For WAM, though, it is best purchased from bulk stores like Sam's Club and Costco for very fair prices.

- It comes in a variety of colors and is tasty.

- Icing is a very smooth, silky, and sensual substance because of its butter content.

- It holds really well for photos and stays in place.

- It is nontoxic and tastes delicious.

CONS

- Be careful when walking with buttercream on the feet as it can be very slippery.

- Avoid shades of red or hot pink from Sam's Club as they may stain skin (blues/greens typically do not).

- Cleanup can be a challenge; the hottest water you can stand will be required, followed by a good detail scrubbing using a lot of soap (without soap, you will have an oily, buttery film on your skin).

- Icing can be somewhat difficult to clean out of clothing it destroys, and if it gets on painted walls, it may darken or loosen the paint.

- It does not pour, and thinning it requires a science degree and/or a lot of patience with a mixer and small amounts of milk.
